French: Academic Instruction
Next Step Language provides academic French classes ranging from foundational Pre Class A and B courses to more advanced French studies, including French 1, French 2, and French 3. Because Next Step is dedicated to fitting instruction to a learners needs and desires, all classes can be altered to improve the learning experience.
Classes are available for purchase in blocks, priced at $250 for individuals and $300 for families. The initial session focuses on unraveling the intricacies of the French language, serving as a foundation for understanding not only French but also the building blocks shared by various European languages. This course proves valuable in understanding the English language as well.
This is the beginning of our journey into learning French as a system. It will include a brief overview of grammar and the language used when talking about language. Don't worry! We can still have some fun.
French Pre Class B
In this class we continue on our journey into learning French as a system. It will include a brief study of grammar and the language used when talking about language 'Meta Language'.
This time we will begin looking at the grammar specific to French.

These classes are sold by semester for $350 per person $400 per family. These are school-type academic French classes. We will be using the series, 'Alex et Zoé for younger learners and/or 'Bon voyage' for highschool aged students.
Alex et Zoé 1 is more for beginners, Alex et Zoé 2 builds on the first level, and Alex et Zoé 3 introduces more advanced language concepts. Each textbook has corresponding workbooks and CDs.
The same can be said for 'Bon voyage'.
